                               RESOLUTION NO. 19052
                  
                  
                   A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE INTERIM
                   ADMINISTRATOR OF THE DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC
                   WORKS TO EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT WITH THE
                   UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE PERTAINING TO
                   FUNDING FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON PALMETTO
                   STREET AND EAST FIFTH STREET IN THE VICINITY
                   OF THE UNIVERSITY OF TENNESSEE CHATTANOOGA
                   CAMPUS.
                  
                  
                                                    
                  
                  
       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That the Interim Administrator of the
       Department of Public Works be and is hereby authorized to execute 

       an Agreement with the University of Tennessee pertaining to
       funding for street improvements on Palmetto Street and East Fifth 

       Street in the vicinity of the University of Tennessee Chattanooga 

       campus, wherein the University of Tennessee is to provide the 
City
       of Chattanooga an amount of $77,912.12 as its pro rata share of
       the cost for labor and materials related to the construction of
       the subject project, with the estimated total cost of the project 

       being $166,174.25.
